The elder statesman of modern German hard rock, Joachim Witt, is releasing a new album on August 31st of this year called "Auf Ewig." According to the subpage on his website, it will be a best of collection focusing on everything from his 1980s hits like 'Goldene Reiter' or 'Tri-Tra-Trullalla' to more recent work from Eisenherz and the Bayreuths.
While this may come as something of a disappointment to those hoping for a recording of all new songs, there will be a limited-edition DVD and two new songs coming with the package.
For more information, visit the Auf Ewig page. (Quick warning, it is in German)
