Rammstein have come pretty close to having all their albums listed on the German Censorship Index after some over the top member of the political correctness brigade lodged a complaint. This summer, a worried Kreisjugendpfleger (“district youth guardian”) applied at the Federal Inspection Unit to have all Rammstein albums indexed as so-called “youth-endangering media”. After negotiations, this action has ceased as of the 10th of October. Fortunately, a review board composed of representatives from the state authorities, youth welfare services, tutors, church and religious groups, and book distributors and publishers did NOT subscribe to the view of the applicant that Rammstein lyrics were obscene, violence-glorifying, or sexually humiliating. Thankfully this has all been sorted out as it's amazing what one complaint can do these days. In some other Rammstein news, Feeling B (Flake and Paul's previous band) are to release a new album called “Grün & Blau” (“Green & Blue”). The album will contain all digitally remastered and re-recorded material. This will be released with a 120 hardcover book. Read a short message from Flake regarding this release here .
