| In Extremo announce 'Best of' |
|  Following in the footsteps of the new oomph 'best of' cd, In Extremo have announced that they plan to release their own. The album will be titled "Kein Blick zurück" and celebrates the band's 10-year anniversary. It will be released on December 8th. In addition to a regular Best Of album where IN EXTREMO re-record some of their old and new hits (with updated production-including songs from the "Weckt Die Toten" record) - a bonus CD will also be included with cover versions of IN EXTREMO songs from other artists. Amongst others, this includes Silbermond with "Die Gier", Götz Alsmann with "Singapur", Killing Joke and Grave Digger and the legendary German group Ougenweide.

Also according to Spiegel, In Extremo will compete in the Eurovision Song contest 2006 on behalf of Thüringen.
The contest will take place on the 9th of February.
