| Deutschemusik.net Presents - Projekt Goldrausch |
| All fans of the now broken up band Toxsin, listen up. A new Munich band is out and about with former Toxsin members aswell as a couple of former Megaherz musicians. The name of the band is 'Projekt Goldrausch' and they are set to release a new EP called Sorgenkind in the next few days. You can read more and listen to a couple of songs on their homepage. We will have a review of this band up sometime in the future.
View the Projekt Goldrausch website.
| | | | Deutschemusik.net Presents - Dementi | | Introducing Dementi from Efurt, Germany. This rock band have recently released a new cd called 'Für Heute Reichts'. They describe their music as: To put it bluntly, using imagery full of blood and poetry, we report our thoughts and feelings about life. We try to give emotions, which are lost in everday life, back to people" - to discover the image of our own fear through melancholy meldodies - to look rage and pain in the face in order to see life with new eyes. DeutscheMusik.net recently reviewed their latest cd and was very impressed. This band is definately worth keeping an eye on.

Combining distant melancholic esthetics with hard metal elements, the first release entitled "Pulse" offers 6 epic ethno metal tracks (total running time: 35 minutes). Brute metal vocals and mercilessly low-tuned guitars are mixed with warm ethnic instruments and female vocals, creating a dynamic and energetic listening experience. The debut mini-CD "Pulse" is avaliable for pre-order on the official site. There you can find song samples, watch the video clip and find out more about the artists, the concept behind SpiRitual etc.

Whilest i found their first release to be too techno/pop influenced and lyrically weak (although it was no bad release, only kind of "the opposite of Richthofen" so to speak, it was just to "poppig" overall) the new samples on the site sound really awesome and i personally always believed in the talents of this band. I have a clue that this release might be quite interesting, style of Megaherz/Oomph/Toxsin but with it's own charm.
