| We have just been informed of the break up of a Swiss band(with German Lyrics) called 'Der Eremit'. The page says the main reason is their guitar player who was very important for the special sound of Der Eremit left the band, and it looks like the bandleader thinks the band won’t work without him. Another reason is they put so much effort in their music and they feel pretty much disappointed because they are yet so very unknown and also had no real commercial success. Der Eremit was active for over 10 years. An unfortunate piece of news as the band made quite an interesting sound.
Check out the Der Eremit website for samples.

Entitled Feinbild, this second album will feature the great blend of drive and danceability that characterized their debut, Unsterblich, but in an even more dynamic form. According to band leader/songwriter/singer/techno-master Curt Doernberg, Feinbild will rock harder and heavier while further highlighting the sophisticated electronic elements. As always with Treibhaus, the organic and synthetic enhance each other, their collision a battle in which everyone wins, especially the listener. Full versions of two of the album's eleven tracks are available for free download on the Official site
