Has anybody heard this or own it? A friend lent me the album a few days ago, and while it has a distinct 70's orchestral sound (not a bad thing at all!), I think it's really quite good. The packaging is really nice too, and consequently I'm considering buying it.

I own both CD and vinyl. I heard it for the first time when I was about 12 years old and I still think it's one of the best 'music plays' I have ever heard. I especially like the part about Thunderchild. So buy it. It won't be a dissapointment (I still listen to it about once every 2 months......and I have been doing that for the past 25 years... :oops: 8) )

Yeah, I like that track "Dead London". The only thing that bugs me a bit is some of the singing, but that's what you get I suppose. The actual performances are really well done though.

I agree. But the performers are good (although I don't really like David Essex...) 8)
