from my point of view schweisser is the best german metal band ever - i only refer to eisenkopf, willkommen im club and heiland - because with their style they made way for more popular bands like rammstein, who, what i think, adaptet their style.
at first i almost disliked them, but with time i got deeper into their sound and i started loving them. i know them for more than 5 years now and i still know the lyrics (the sickest and baddest i've heard so far) by heart. absolutely evil riffs, fantasic drumwork and saxophonesolos to drop to your knees for.

i?ve read "chromverputzte wand " - it's actually "grob verputzte wand" which means very, very rough plastered wall :wink:

schweisser are an all time favorite...

ever tried amazon.de for ordering eisenkopf an the others...they have em still in their stock.

you're definitely right, could easily be that Schweisser influenced Rammstein, and they could easily copy Schweisser, because they were much less known. Althought Schweisser sound always more interesting than Rammstein in it's "after-Sehnsucht-era".

Just think on "mein Liebe ist ein Monster" featured by Apocalyptica.
Or whatever. Ofcourse also Malaria with it's stilish Saxophone parts.
