OK, review time

[01] Benzin We already knew that song, it was chsen for 1st singe maybe to show that the album will be different aqgain... quite a good and strong song!

[02] Mann Gegen Mann I thought that the song about homosexual people will be some kind of ballad or without distortion or something... well, it wasn't Strong song again, fills me with energy

[03] Rosenrot Really good song! The tipical German way of making music! Till Lindemann's vocals are great here, the backing vocals - too Honestly, this song sounds like it was made in 2010, I can't explain why

[04] Spring The strangest song in the album. I wasn't impressed from the samples but the guitar riffs at 00:48 are totally smashing! Great electronics too!

[05] Wo Bist Du The song shows lots of feeliengs. You can't just listen to this and think about some bubble gum The electronic samples are the best in the album, remind me a bit for the "old" Rammstein

[06] Stirb Nicht Von Mir Wow... in the first moment I decided that this is Coldplay and Till is a guest here... NOHTING from Rammstein's sound here, awful female vocals, in English... blah... but the song has something nice, I can't explait waht but it's nice

[07] Zerstoren My favourite song from the album! No, my favourite Rammstein song at all maybe...! No time to waste - just incredible song - powerful, smashing, in-your-face, great riffs, electronics... I won't tell you what I did when I first heard the whole song ( :oops: ) but the solo... oh... that solo... I think I'll come every time after I hear this

[08] Hilf Mir In the beginning the song reminds me of some Godsmack's song. Not bad. Not bad at all but after Zerstoren the song sounds sleepy

[09] Te Queiro Puta! My second favourite song from this album Spanish is OK here, I thought it will be crap but I was wrong again Hehe, again those heavy guitar riffs, nice trumpets... The moment with "Mas Mas Mas, Por favor..." makes me bang my head a lot!

[10] Feuer Und Wasser Well, just another good song on the album, lack of guitars (the bad part) but the lyrics are cool. The song's just not so good as the others

[11] Ein Lied Even if I've herad the song before I'm sure that I would guess that it will be 11th. Just perfect ending song, for the fans, blah blah... Good song but I don't listen to it often, it's enough to hear it once

As a whole piece - again different Rammstien album. I was a bit dissapointed after Reise, Reise but now I'm happy to listen to this album We can clearly see the way of making the songs - cuplets without guitars, more electronics, choruses with heavy riffs... Just good

I just got it today the dvd is awesome.

I like the album, but I still havent seen the DVD, just have to wait to get somewhere where I can view it.

Well its been a long time since anythings been said about this, I admit my taste changed over the months and I wasnt keeping close tabs on Rammstein like I used to so I didnt get this till Christmas. Still I would like to give my opinion since it seems to conflict so much with everybody elses. Ill follow Laichzeits form to make it easy to read.

However first Id like to clarify somthing, apparentely everyone things anything under a 7-8 means that a song has plumeted into utter suckitude, this is not so, in fact when it comes to me and my hard critiquing, to get over a 6 is admirable.

My review

Benzin: 5/10
I liked it better than the Reise Reise open of....well....Reise Reise. However it still didnt strike a cord with me other than my rabid head shaking side. Admitted the random english words thrown in made it hard for someone with a basic german vocabulary like mine to concentrate on the song at points. Its an overall "Ok" song.

Mann Gegen Mann: 8/10
Best song on the CD, pure and simple and the line "Mann Gegen Mann" (not to steal from you Laich) is pure Rammstein. If there was one song on this CD that could hold merit when compared to their old material is definentely this one.

Rosenrot: 4/10
A extremely repetitive song and thought I do like some of the guitars toward the end of the song overall it doesnt hold up past a few listens, I definentely cant understand why they would make this the cover song short of just wanting to sell sell sell....DAMN YOU RAMMSTEIN!!! YOU GAVE IN TO "The Man"!!!!!

Spring: 2/10
I hate you spring, the unloved, stupid, red headed stepchild who deserves the beating its getting and isnt just mistreated. I could bash this song all day from its uninspired intro to its horrible sounds and if I have to hear them chant that horrible line "Spring" one more time Ill go insane. Its to bad to because the idea behind the song is excellent and the lyrics arnt half-bad (just how they are sung).

Wo Bist Du: 6/10
I really do like this song, its filled with emotion and aside from "Mann gegen Mann" I think it is the best showcase of Till's voice as well as the best sound musically on the CD. Its just somthing about it that gets repetitive after a while and makes it impossible to listen to on a constant basis.


Stirb nicht vor mir: 0/10
Did I say I hated "Spring"? Well Ive kidnapped "Stirb nicht vor mir", tied it up, had a dog ass rape it, shot it in the kneecaps, cut its entrails out, tied them around a tree, doused them in gasoline, lit it and then pushed it off a cliff. I refuse to even acknowledge this song, and dont think Im just being that way because its not "the real Rammstein", no, its just a terrible song no matter who it was.

Zerst?ren 6/10
Ill admit, Im joining the band wagon on this one. Not exactly great but not bad either. Just a good hard song...but around 3:00 in, rather than get better like alot of songs do around that time with a mix up of the rifs, it just gets annoying to me...thus I always end up changing the song about then...sorry fans.

Hilf mir: 1/10
Not to bash on your opinions anyone but I just dont see why everyone likes it so much....its just....terrible. Even the lyrics just scream of suckitude, the guitar is uninspired and I hate to say it but Till is showing his age here, this song could have been somthing but instead Till sticks to the bland reciting he does for most of this album, in other songs it works but not here.

Te Quiero Puta: 5/10
I cant decide what I think about this song but because I enjoy originality Im going to give it a decent score just because it is entertaining sometimes but as Laich pointed out, the horns really were overdone and later in the song the other voice they used is just plain annoying so kinda like "Zerst?ren" I cut it off before it gets there.

Feuer und Wasser: 3/10
What to say about this song? They really lost me here, its not a terrible song, its just got nothing to keep your attention through even the first listen.

Ein Lied: 7/10
Im going to have to disagree with everyone here, I really enjoyed this track....alot. Certainly it cant be considered musical genius in the guitar, his voice or the lyrics but theres just somthing about this song. Even though its not great, when it plays I dont feel the urge to switch the song for another, I have to listen all the way through and though it may not amount to some of the other great ending tracks of the past, standing alone as a seperate song along the other songs on this album and not those of the past its very good.


Album itself: 4.2/10
So overall the album isnt all that great, it has its moments but nothing special. Dont think Im some burnt fanboy because its not the real Rammstein. Im one of the few who was actually pushing to have Rammstein change back during Reise Reise and it did in a direction I thought held great promise but now theyve gone and let me down. This has in no way broken me as a fan though, there were flickers of hope within the album and I will faithfully buy the next to see where they take their music.

"MAnn Gegen Mann" reminds me of Laibach actually. Not the music, just the song title itself.
