It's still technically illegal, but considering you just can't buy certain things anywhere, I would hope they think about it twice and at least consider it "barely legal". In my opinion, bands or their labels and whoever else is involved should not have any problems with downloading this stuff unless they are willing to press some more copies of it.

Megaherz also put the limited track of herzwerk II to download ("es brennt"), and i think here it is pretty much the same case.

I don't think the b(r)andname "Megaherz" has anything to do with this. The re-release of the original HERZWERK in 2002 was Al's project, he funded it and put the whole thing together. It is his "baby". I do not think these songs will ever be available for download.
