Deutschemusik.net Interview with Joachim Witt 2007/01/25 00:43
I am proud to announce that DeutscheMusik.net's next interview is to be conducted with the German music master, Joachim Witt!!

And once again the special things about our interviews is that you get to ask the questions. So post away your questions and I'll pick the best ones and conduct the interview in a weeks or so.

Well, here are 6 questions... almost certainly too many from one person so, pick through them, hopefully some are useable

I'd probably ask:

I read that your big hit of the NDW era, "Goldener Reiter", was based on the song "A Horse with no name" by the band America. What is the connection there?

After the 80's you had a bit of a slump but you never gave up and "Bayreuth Eins" was a HUGE success in the late 90's and you've been going strong ever since. To what do you attribute this "second (or third or fourth or...) wind"?

What was the idea behind a Bayreuth trilogy?

You have put out many diverse albums over the years, which single one are you the most proud of and why?

How did you get involved with Peter Heppner from Wolfsheim?

When you started making music, things were certainly much different. What are the pros and cons for you in comparing then to now?

Oh & I asked my friend if she had any questions & she said, "what was your inspiration for the new/most recent album? (if this question has been asked in previous interviews, then just forget it.) "

I think it's wicked awesome you get to do this, btw!!! Really well done!!!

Mikki
