If you don't know OOMPH don't go with the new albums.
leave out their very first album ("oomph") and start right from the beginning. "Sperm", "Defekt" and "Unrein" are perfect to start, you
will like them i'm sure!
I never understood why Rammstein said they admire OOMPH and OOMPH had influences to their music, but the old albums really have a lot of innovation and sound hard and dirty, just as herzeleid.
not the clean rock stuff of "WoP".

Right now, Sperm and Wunschkind are my favourites, but if you go by popular opinion (excluding the WOP newbs), you should try out Unrein (which is a great album too). Since the last time I posted in this thread I've also started liking Plastik a lot more and Ego less.

Yeah, "gekreuzigt" really kicks some ass. "Unrein" is easily disgestible so to speak :twisted:

I personally think that the song Unrein is one of their best songs ever. I also like Goldenes Herz very much.
