Can someone tell me something about Samsas Traum ?
I have not one cd nor anything heard of them on a sampler.

They seem to be darkwave in a broader meaning.
Or roughly ebm.

But most important, they are german, and they are a lot
focused on the lyrics. Each album seems to be story based.

i listened to some, and liked the lyrics quite a lot.
Der Wald der vergessenen Puppen
(Wood of the forgotten puppetts) is my favourite.
(but i listened only to 3 of the samples yet due to my slow ISDN connection)

Very creative lyrics, a bit the direction like Weisslut, but in the same moment totally different.

Samsas Traum are releasing some 2DVD+2CD box called Einer Gegen Alle on monday. The first DVD shows a live concert from the a.Ura tour, plus some bonus material. The first CD contains twelve remixes of a.Ura songs and one new track, Einer gegen alle. I don't completely understand what the second CD and DVD are about. It seems like they're some tribute to a band called Weena Morloch. The DVD has a "visualized" version of the Weena Morloch album Kunst-X=?, whatever that's supposed to mean. The second CD is a previously unreleased Weeena Morloch album called Epanalepsis.

Seems like a very unusual release. It contains loads of stuff, but it also costs around 30? and I'm not sure if I'm willing to pay that.

weena morloch is a side project of alex'... totally different sound from samsas traum. i really dont care anything for weena morloch, but samsas traum is great!! i have a friend in canada that has pre-ordered this box set.

a.Ura und das Schnecken Haus is a fantastic album...

I love a few of their songs, but find most of it pretty boring. Ein Duell mit Gott, Cafe Koma and Ein Foetus Wie Du are my favourites.

The whole album Oh Luna Mein is awesome.
