I was wondering, any news from the Schweisser guys ever since this release? I've heard so few ever since, I hope it wasn't a sales flop and that at least the old school fans of Schweisser bought and can appreciate this. It's certainly not exactly the same Scheisser anymore, but Tommy plays such a huge part in the band that it still totally sounds like Schweisser to my ears. I've been listening to the album recently quite much after a long period of "ignoring" it, and it's pretty good. Specially from "Zu kurz" onwards. Verwahlt is my favorite track, sounds exactly like Schweisser on their best days would have. Also, Die Binaeren Idioten seems to achieve the soundscape that Schweisser were aiming to achieve with Bitte Warten. All in all, a very pleasent album if explored in detail as I did...I still just don't seem to agree the title of it to be fitting.

Hope this wasn't the last we heard from Schweisser anyway, let us know when there are any news soon.

That's a good question... I haven't heard anything about Schweisser in almost a year. Nick should be able to tell us more, hopefully some good news...

Unfortunately the current Schweisser news has dried up. Tommi and the lads are back working again. There was a few childish in fights which have passed. There is no news on another album but there is also no news to report that they are finished.

I think Pororoca showed a lot of promise, even if the mixing came out pretty bad. I still play this album a lot as there's something about it that appeals to me to keep playing over and over. I do love Tommi's voice!
Anyway if he passes on any news I will post it right away(I'm currently working on a new Schweisser.org)
